Long-term Activities In the pursuit of its objectives, RSP aims not only to address but to also provide suggestions and solutions regarding the important issues, which currently face interventional radiology by adopting more of an active role within the radiological industry. In order to achieve its aim, the Society’s on-going long-term activities include:
Annual Meeting The RSP Annual Meeting, which takes place in May, is a two day event allowing radiologists to earn CME Credits. Topics range from socio-economic and legal issues affecting radiologists to the application of radiology. To encourage attendance at this meeting the CRS waves the registration fee for its members.
Many members utilize the RSP as a resource for information and direction on legal and practice issues. We provide references to outside attorneys and consultants for specific member assistance.
The RSP Bulletin is a quarterly newsletter designed to keep members abreast of Society activities, events, trends and information. It also provides an excellent, useful, and reliable review of local, state and national legislative activities.
The Radiological Society of Pakistan is a professional association dedicated to improving the quality of patient care. Members of the RSP are radiologists, throughout Pakistan and Abroad, who are involved in continual review of ways and means to improve services, tests and technologies.
RSP sets performance standards and provides clinical and billing guidelines to assist members in their commitment to professional standards.
